The best is yet to come!

So, what does it mean to seek God’s kingdom first? Could it be that God is asking us to seek Him before we make any decision or take any action so that He can give us the perfect solution? You see, God has already provided food, clothing and shelter for us. He has also provided a way to salvation through the blood of Christ that was shed at Calvary. He is simply asking us to do the one thing He cannot do for us, which is to accept His way so that we can receive all that He has already provided for us. God has given us freedom of choice and He will not force us to choose His way, so we have make the choice freely.
God promises us that when we seek to know and to obey Him above all things, we meet the conditions to receive all that He provides for our daily needs. We need not worry, no matter how challenging things may seem. God is mightier and more powerful than our circumstances or situations. He knows the end from the beginning and only He knows what is best for us. Though the road may seem hard at times, He also promises us that He will never give those who love Him more than they can bear; He always has a way out of every situation so we should look to Him for guidance in all things in order to find the perfect solution. Since God cannot lie and His promises are sure, why not be still and meet the conditions for each and every promise He gives us? Rest assured He will come through!
If we choose to reject God by disregarding His commandments, His word, and His will for our lives, we also reject His protection over us and place ourselves in the hands of the enemy as a tool for the devil’s handiwork. What an awful thought and end to one’s life when we choose to elevate our way over God’s way. Yet when we choose God’s way, we can rest on His promises and sit back on the bumpy ride of life, for we know the best is yet to come!
